Imagine you’re on an unfamiliar beach, gazing out at the waves gently rolling in onto the shore. You’re wondering whether it’s safe to swim. What if there are undercurrents that could sweep you out to sea or drag you under? Navigating fears and doubts are like those unseen undercurrents, lurking beneath the surface of your dreams and goals.
You can ignore them and swim anyway, but your unconscious mind has the power to drag you down or hold you back.
You have to develop the mind awareness and intuitive discernment to spot that you have undercurrents rippling through you like waves of resistance.
How can you have fears and doubts when you are following your heart?
It’s an all too human paradox.
The fears you are experiencing are not usually the kind that make you break out in a sweat and shake. You might not even realize you are experiencing fears and doubts. You just find it hard to act on your intentions. Often, you waver and distract yourself, spinning your wheels as you face the same view of yourself and your life each day.
Sound familiar?
“There’s always something in my life that I’m unhappy about so I can’t create,” bemoaned a new client of mine. She had a job that she didn’t like and by the time she got home for the evening she felt drained and uninspired.
Happy New Year!!! May this be your best year ever! We all have the potential to experience our best year ever. The beginning of each new year offers us a tiny window of opportunity to believe this time it could be different – before the doubts set in.
Do you have days when your mind becomes dull with brain fog and a mysterious paralysis strangles your ability to take action? Fear has crept up, weaving its insidious tentacles around you like sticky cobwebs. Once you become fear’s prisoner, then fear will feed you stories, none of them true, about why you can’t have what you want.
