Many of us have a story that we tell ourselves from time to time that is outdated, misleading and negative. Some stories are rooted in a core wound or traumatic experience. Our stories our painful traps that we fall into, until we wise up. Focus on your intuition rather than your story, and trust your deeper knowing.
I used to have a pattern of suddenly feeling stuck. Things are going well, I feel good, confident and then bam — I hit an inner or outer obstacle. I feel stuck, temporarily hopeless and helpless. I think “Here I am again. Stuck.” I imagine never getting anywhere. Dreams not coming true.
Energetically, I sink, tighten, close down. I see myself as less than. A failure, with defects.
How long do I stay this way?
Until I feel a nudge from my deeper knowing that something is off. Then my wise self takes over. It’s like my intuition nudges me to wake up from my slumber. “I can help you get back on track,” it whispers (my interpretation) as if I was a derailed train.
Suddenly feeling powerless is a common experience, especially for women, even if you know that you are powerful.
It’s like you have to remember all over again that you are powerful, so that you can experience your power on a deeper level.
When emotions such as overwhelm, fear or doubt arise, they are temporarily blinding. All you can see is overwhelm, fear or doubt, like looking through a window slashed by heavy rain in a storm.
Intuition is our guide for navigating life and fulfilling our deepest desires.
Paddle through a storm with your intuitive guidance showing you the way, rather than thrashing around stuck in your head.
Once you become aware of your patterns, your stories, you can navigate around them. When I shine the light of awareness on feeling stuck, I know now that there is no such thing as actually being stuck as life is constant change.
I can breathe into the tension I feel in my body that comes from believing that I am other than I am.
By deepening presence, you can create space to receive the truth of who you truly are.
Your intuitive wisdom tells you when you are off. It can also help you to get back into alignment with your true self.
Yes, this means stopping and taking the time to get centered and drop into deeper presence, but it is time well spent.
How often do we spend time poorly, frittering away the precious resources of a lifetime?
It’s exciting to know that you have agency. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. It’s like looking at a map of the world, a list of destinations and telling yourself that you can go wherever you want.
Yes, you will sail into the unknown, on seas of uncertainty. Flip how you see this. Adventure or arduous toil.
When you choose the attitude that supports you to make the best of a situation, you can much more easily tap into your intuitive guidance. When you honor your deepest desires, you ignite support from unseen realms.
Focus on what your intuition tells you, rather than your story about yourself or your experience. Open your heart to greater possibilities and let the Universe display its generosity and love for you. Make sure you catch and celebrate the miracles as they happen.
