Don’t let that happen to you! No matter what your age or your circumstances, you can live your dream life, or at least a new version of it if some dreams have fallen away or become outdated.
We all have the capacity to dream, to imagine, to feel inspired by something that excites us.
There is a wonderful way to prevent your dream life from drifting off to an ever receding horizon.
The turnaround is to live into your dream life. You can start to live into your dream life right away.
In fact, discovering how to live your dream life now is the only way to live your dream life. Living into your dream life enlivens your mind and your life, as you dwell in the land of passion, purpose and possibility.
1. Give yourself permission to dream.Your conscious and cautious mind is not your ally when it comes to dreaming. Give it a sedative and enjoy dreaming for pleasure. Get curious about what you dream of. Dive into your dreams and explore. This is your heart and soul speaking to you.
2. If it’s in your heart it’s yours.Own your dreams and longings. They are yours for a reason. Speak to them. Unearth them and discover what is beneath them. Love your desires and steer them into becoming part of your life. Nurture their growth so they can flourish. Maybe you want to start following the dream of work that would make your heart sing and fill you with purpose. Or, you want to dive deep into discovering what your calling is, because what you are doing now feels old and stale. Listen to it all. Longings for love, more time, travel, joy, a new home, spiritual connection, creative fulfillment.
3. Become the version of you who aligns with your dream life.We can’t have it until we align with it. All dreams and longings are talk and lack the energy and focus needed for manifestation when we are not aligned with them. Getting into alignment with your dream life is a process that requires deep listening to your thoughts, feelings and intuitive whispers.
If you wonder why you haven’t manifested something you long for, examine the clues. It’s all there. Deep down, you know why you haven’t accomplished a dream goal yet. Don’t give up. It takes commitment to connect with our strength, to honor our truth and to transform the beliefs and behaviors that keep us where we are, rather than where we want to be.
4. Take inspired action.Once you have committed to your dream life, you will be shown what inspired actions to take, including whatever needs to happen for you to come into alignment with your dreams. Our inner guidance system perks up when we are fired with purpose. Like a steam engine, the wheels start to roll, sparks fly and ideas flash before our eyes, synchronicities crop up out of the blue and we feel the Universe responding, gently taking us by the arm into a brand new chapter.
5. Celebrate your progress.Celebrate every new development, each baby step and fresh insight that takes you closer to living your dream life. You will feel reenergized and encouraged by your progress. Make the most of it. The more you celebrate your progress, the more progress you will make until you realize one day that you are actually living your dream life right now.
